Typically batteries will last 3- 5 years depending on the usage. When your battery becomes low, a low battery signal will be sent to the monitoring station and you will be notified, along with an amber trouble light that will illuminate on the keypad.

Pets are not a concern. All our motion detectors are high immunity pet friendly. It would be our pleasure to have the opportunity to protect your pets.

Yes, if you are eligible to receive a discount with your insurance company. This discount could be fairly significant to the home/ business owner.

Yes, Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. offers this option to our customers. You may also choose to control your thermostat, lighting or viewing your home or business remotely.

When Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. installs my alarm system, do I own all my equipment?2020-05-11T07:57:08+00:00

The purchaser does in fact own all the equipment that Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. has installed. Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. provides added value to our customers, we only use new equipment. By our customers owning their alarm system equipment, this can increase property value.

Yes, even when there is a power failure your alarm system will continue to function as all systems have a back-up battery, typically 24 hours.

In case of an emergency, we recommend calling 911 first if possible. Secondly all Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. alarm systems have three different panic buttons located on the user’s keypad. One to dispatch the police, dispatch the fire department and dispatch for ambulance. If in need of these services, the user must press down either one of these buttons for a full two seconds. There is always an option to carry a wireless panic button, in case of emergency where the customer has fallen and can’t get up.

By leaving your alarm system in your previous home, this will be used as a selling feature and an added benefit to the new home or business owner. It would be our pleasure at Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. to take care of all your needs at your new location.

We will be pleased to offer full service to you, should you choose Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. to provide your monitoring service we will at no cost replace your back up battery and refresh your entire system at no extra cost. Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc. is qualified to perform this on any alarm system.

Norfolk Secure Tek Systems Inc.provides a warranty program to all our customers, free of charge for the first year into the contract. This warranty includes all services and products. After the first year, customers have the option of enrolling in our extended service agreement program.
